Links

Internal link HTTP status checks, broken-link highlights, and optional Create redirect actions on the frontend SEO Preview Bar.

Requires SEO NEO Pro. Drawer panel in the SEO Preview Bar.

The Links panel audits anchor tags on the rendered page. It classifies links, flags problems, and checks internal URLs over the network so you see live HTTP status while browsing the frontend.

What you see

  • Summary: total links, unique hrefs, internal and external counts, hash-only # links, empty or javascript hrefs, and live pending / broken counts as checks complete.
  • Filters: All, Pending, Broken, OK, and Other to narrow the internal link list.
  • Broken: anchors with no href or unusable javascript: URLs.
  • Hash-only links: informational list of href="#" controls (tabs, toggles, and similar UI).
  • Internal and external lists: link text and href; internal entries get status badges after fetch (200, redirect arrow, 404, or unknown).

How checks work

Only internal links are checked. Requests run in small parallel batches. Redirects are detected without following the full chain to the final URL. When all checks finish, broken links sort to the top of the internal list.

Redirects companion

HTTP status badges run on every install. When the Redirects module is installed, plain 404 internal links (not soft 404s that already redirect) show a Create redirect button. It opens the add-rule form in a new tab with the path pre-filled from the broken href.
